1:34 AM, Friday, April 20, 2007 ... It's A Silver... 16th April finally arrival and this is wat we were waiting for... our SYF day. Everyone looked excited, some nervous. After Watson speech, we cheered LOUD and I almost cried la. HA. Maybe the whole band was soo united and our common GOAL towards the GOLD ba... ^.^ After finished all preparation, off we go for our GOLD!!! Soon is ur turn... and the whole band really played VERY VERY WELL!!! I could feel the whole band is moving musically and with a common goal. The BEST Armenian Dances I ever heard... On the bus when we were going back, Papa Toh told us that he had heard alot of Good comments from other conductors and our skool's tutors. He also said we played quite well and he really enjoys our playing as he keeps smiling to us when conducting. We reached skool quite early and we played 1 new song "Moving Castle" while waiting for our result... And nw the result were out, we got a Silver... The band went slient and everyones' tears came bursting out... Papa Toh, Teacher i/c and even principal came up to talk to us. And their speeches really made me wanted to cry even more... cuzz the more they ask us nt to be disappointed and sad, I felt more SRY to them... And that word, " We're the best band in my heart. " Made mii Real Touch and Cried out even worst... but after a peroid of times, I tink we had already done our best and was really proud that we r a Gold painted Silver band. After all I tink we shuld just let Armenian Dances stays 4ever in our heart and concentrate what is in front of us, our Genting competition... YEAHH!!!
